She was excited to try it, and I was surprised at how this activity stimulated her brain to get the pieces in the correct place. Not a problem for her at all, but it did make her think! It's and awesome active learning activity, and now she wants to try the mermaid, which is a tad harder, but I know she'll be successful. She was so proud of the finished butterfly! The activity reminded me of a puzzle activity, but it was more satisfying to her to create a finished product she could put up at home! It also held her attention until she completed it.

She is good with shapes so matching things to where they go was perfect. Nice sized craft and not overwhelming for a busy mind and hands.

I was concerned that that younger one would have difficulty with this, but it turns out that both of them had so much fun doing them and doing them well, that I turned around and ordered more of them for rainy days to come in the summertime. Their Mom said they had a blast doing it and it kept them occupied for a while.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Acacia from Beautiful hanging in the window! My 9 yr old granddaughter loves it. She was able to put it all together very quickly, so maybe would be better for a younger child. But she did request another one to do. I would love it if they had some that were a bit more challenging for an older child. It look beautiful hanging in the window.
